Proud 30+ years' Retiree of Atomic Energy of Canada and Theratronics in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Canadian manufactured cobalt radiation therapy machines to hospitals worldwide.
Al passed away gently and peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Joanna (nee Boode). Dear father of Janice, Diane, and James, and extended family daughters, Renee and Kirsten. Proud Grandad to Megan, Ryan, and Adam, and extended family grandchildren, Jordan, Olivia, and Omar. Al leaves behind many relatives and friends, including best friend Chuck. His family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of the Champlain Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) for bringing warmth and dignity to his final weeks. Friends are invited to visit at
