Beland (Pang), Donna –
Our mom has walked her last fairway on this earth. She is now teeing it up where the sky is always blue and the sun is always shining. We have no doubt that she’s hitting it straight down the middle.

We will forever remember her smile, her warmth, her boundless energy and most especially her love for family and friends. The proud and much loved mother to Sherry, Darren and Mike, and dear friend to their spouses Chris, Lynn and Vicki, passed peacefully on January 16, 2016 at the age of 72. Mom spent countless hours in our youth, driving us to hockey, lacrosse, swimming and tennis. She was our biggest cheerleader in life and sport. Win or lose, she greeted us with a smile and taught us to be positive, work hard and good things will happen.

She cherished her role as Grandma to Tyler, Sammy, Halle, Emma, Jake and Jesse. She spoiled them, adored them and loved them beyond words. They are her greatest legacy.

Donna was a special friend to each of her sisters, Eileen Mitchell (deceased), Nettie Millar, Joan Gagne and Cathy Barnes. She will be greatly missed by her brothers-in-law Barry and Wayne, her many nieces and nephews and countless friends. The late Charlie and Carmen Beland of Pembroke would have been so proud of the strength, courage and grace of their beautiful daughter. Her spirit will live on at Rideauview Golf Club under the willow tree and on 4 and 15 where she recorded her two hole-in-ones.

It was Donna’s wish that if so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, where she was a devoted volunteer.
