<div itemprop="description">Ethel M. LeFevre<br />May 7, 1924 &ndash; May 18, 2015<br />Ethel Marguerita LeFevre (n&eacute;e Griep). Predeceased by John LeFevre, her husband of 60 years. Loving mother to Jo-Anne LeFevre (Chris Herdman) and Jayne Horn (Rick). Devoted grandmother of Jenna and Brianna Herdman, Brodie Milliken, Jacob and Jarod Marshall. Born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, grew up near Fairview, Alberta, died in Ottawa. Served in the Canadian Navy in WWII (1944 &ndash; 1946). Lived and worked in Vancouver, Calgary, and Denver. Retired to Panama City, Florida in 1985, where she contributed countless volunteer hours, especially to Friends of the Library and Meals on Wheels. Active member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Agnes Griep (n&eacute;e Lessmeister), brothers William, Alfred (Margaret), Herman (Clara), Benedict (Marie), Frederick (Winnifred), and sisters Marie Nazarchuk (Paul), Frances Miller (Ken), and Carol Mueller (Bill). Survived by brother Raymond (Fran). Many thanks to the staff at Colonel By Retirement home (especially Debbie and Ann, and the PSW staff, second floor) who provided compassionate care in the last month of her life, and to the staff at Windsor Park Manor where she lived since 2011.
