BENTLEY, ETHEL MAVIS AUGUSTA (nee Wittenberg)
Passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Hal Bentley. Dear mother of Carolyn Donnelly (Jim), Reg Woods (May), Pamela Woods, and the late John Woods. Dear sister of Harvey Wittenberg, and the late Walter Wittenberg, Herman Wittenberg, Violet Harris and Donald Wittenberg. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Peter Donnelly; Stephanie and Robert Woods; Paul and Diane Burgess; eight great-grandchildren; and predeceased by granddaughter Heather Donnelly. Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Helen’s Anglican Church, 1234 Prestone Drive, Orléans, on Wednesday, January 11 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow later in the spring. For those who wish contributions in her memory may be directed to St. Helen’s Anglican Church, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Her family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Montfort Hospital for their compassionate and professional care.
