Lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion
Peacefully at home, with family by his side, after a courageous battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, on July 26, 2015. Beloved husband of Eleanor O’Connell for 48 years, and loving father of Cindy (Michael Sullivan). Cherished brother of Gail (the late John White), Alexander (Therese), the late Garry (Diane) and the late Dannie (Beverly). Leonard will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Picard, nurse Stacy Wafer, and PSW Raymond Gibeault, for their excellent care, kindness and compassion, and also for the support of family and friends.
A Private Memorial Service for Leonard will be celebrated at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery 3700 Prince of Wales Drive 613-692-1211 on Saturday, August 1st, 2015.
Memorial donations to Parkinson Society Canada – PSP Fund are appreciated.
