Marion "Muriel" Lofthouse
August 28, 1938 - June 18, 2016
LOFTHOUSE, Marion "Muriel" Edith (nee Morrison), age 77 - With great sadness we announce that Muriel died June 18th, 2016, with her family and best friend by her side at RVH in Renfrew, Ontario.
Former wife and beloved friend of John Lofthouse. Beloved mother of Johanna Nicoletta (Sam) and Kathleen Lofthouse (Joe Fontes). Loving and proud grandmother of Ashley Fontes, Ben, Marcus and Alex Nicoletta. She is predeceased by her son Sheldon, brothers Earl and Bruce Morrison. Survived by sister Doreen Morrison and brother Don Morrison.
Her interests included family, bridge, opera and reading. She loved her pets, flowers and summers on her porch. Muriel brought love, caring and laughter to those she touched and will be greatly missed.
A private interment will be held. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday August 28 from 12-1 p.m. at:
