<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce that Kay passed away peacefully at Carleton Place Memorial Hospital after a long and wonderful life. Her life and travels include many dear friends and family. Beloved wife of 56 years of Bob (1998). Also predeceased by her dear grandchildren Jennifer and John and her loving brother John Chapman. Cherished mother of Jim (Jan), Jane (Bryan Murphy), Rick (Francine Neudorf, Andrew, Ryan and Jessie), and Mary (Richard Starnes.) Proud Grandma and very much adored by Rob (Bonnie Murphy), Sarah (Craig Freemantle), Lisa (Ryan Clare), Joanna (Brandon Marrelli) and Tony (Rachelle). Very special great-grandmother to Reid and Quinn Murphy, Finn and Nelly Freemantle and Jordan Marrelli. She will also be dearly missed by her nephews David and Michael, and their families. Mom will also be lovingly remembered by all the Starnes family and their children, especially Libby, Wes, Grace and Emily Jarvis. We feel so blessed to have had her with us for so many terrific years. All who knew her were touched by her sparkling personality, warm character and generous spirit. She will be missed by the fabulous staff and her friends at Waterside Retirement Community. Many thanks also to Bayshore Healthcare for their care and support over the last year. Our family is so appreciative to all who reached out over the past months to share your memories and your love for our dear Mom. We would like to especially thank the medical team at Carleton Place Hospital, each and every one of you made our mother&rsquo;s final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible and we will be forever grateful.</div>
