March 20, 1920 – January 17, 2015
Our loving and caring mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, 94 years young, on Saturday, January 17, 2015. Loving and devoted wife of the late Edward P. Rocque. Dear mother of Dr. Gary E. Rocque (Aud Sund), and Brenda (Howard Howes). Deeply cherished and beloved Nana of Valerie Howes and Lesley Howes (Matt Taylor). Mildred is survived by her caring older brother Dr. Armand Vienneau, of Gatineau, Que. Mildred is predeceased by her siblings Ernest, Polydore, Elenore, Sister Catherine Vienneau, and Hedwidge. Mildred has many nieces and nephews on the Vienneau and Rocque side of the family, with whom she dearly loved (“The French Connection”). Mildred will be missed by her extended family and friends. We would like to thank the nursing staff of C3 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their support and excellent care.
