<div itemprop="description">Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the age of 79. Devoted and loving husband of Teresa (nee Perone), with whom he shared 53 loving years together. The proud and strong father of Pino (Aina) and Lucy. A loving grandfather of five, Nonno will be forever remembered by his grandchildren, Roman, Robert, Meva,Tia and Matteo who were the light of his life. Pietro will be missed by his brother-in-law Joe Perone (Elsa), a trusted and loving person. Pietro leaves to mourn his siblings Palmina Di Nuzzo (Luigi), Nello, Bettina (Giacomo) Oliviero, Vince (Giovanna) and Antonietta. His family here in Canada , Syracuse -NY , USA , and in Italy, nieces and nephews, Giuseppe, Raffaele and Lucio, Tony Di Nuzzo, Filomena Saikely, Theodore, Pino,Franco and Maria Oliviero, Tina, Concetta, Dino and Lucas Vigliotti. Pietro was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Lucia as well as brother Antonio, sister-in-law Ninuccia and his young angelic niece, Lucia. <br>A special mention to his family in Madagascar, Kiki, Sandy and Ricky and all the family and friends in Madagascar. <br>A service in memory will be held in Madagascar at the same time as the service in Canada. Friends and family may pay respects at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery on Thursday, September 22 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, September 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by procession and entombment at Padre Pio Mausoleum.</div>
