<div itemprop="description">Qiaoyu Wang was born on June 12th, 1926 in Beijing. Qiaoyu devoted her life to teaching music and nurtured many outstanding vocalists in China. Following retirement in 1990, she immigrated to Canada and used her musical gifts to serve God and His church. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 and endured sickness. She went to be with the Lord on July 30th, 2016 in Ottawa at the age of 90. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for their support in her final days. <br> <br> <br> <br>Qiaoyu Wang will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lifa Zhang; daughter Suzy Zhang Denorme (Roger Denorme, deceased); daughter Xiaoyi Zhang (Zizhou Shen), Xiaoling Zhang (Joseph Su); granddaughters Hong Shen, Wei Su, Sandra Lynn Denorme; and sister Shuyu Wang (Guanru Gu). Qiaoyu was predeceased by her sister Liangyu Wang. <br> <br> <br> <br>Qiauyu’s life celebration will take place at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2C 3H1 on Friday, August 5th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Bruyère Foundation, 75 Bruyère Street, Ottawa ON, K1N 5C8. <br> <br></div>
