After a courageous battle with cancer, Bob, of Calabogie, ON, died peacefully at Renfrew Hospice at age 75.
Left to grieve his passing and to be thankful for every moment we have shared with him are his family and friends. Loving husband and best friend of wife Marilyn, his sons Rob of Ottawa and Allan of Toronto. He is predeceased by his father Edward; brothers Wayne and Bruce, and son Billy. He will be missed by his mother Katie, sister Elaine (Dunlop), brothers Ed (Suzanne) and Lyle (Bev); grandchildren Jessy (Tricia) and Joleen, and great-grandchildren Keedan and Brenny. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts and good friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Davis, CCAC, Access Health (RN Maureen), RVH Oncology 2nd floor and Renfrew Hospice for their care and compassion.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, 613-692-1211 after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19th. The Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Inurnment in Mausoleum Four.
Guests are invited to continue celebrating Bob’s life in the Carleton Lounge, after the service.
Memorial donations to Renfrew Hospice, 459 Albert st, Renfrew, ON K7V 1V8 and Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Department, 499 Raglan Street North, Renfrew, ON K7V 1P6 would be greatly appreciated.
