<div itemprop="description">GIRARD: Shirley (nee Simser)<br>Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2017 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late George Girard. Loving mother of David, Debbie (Brian Tweedle) and the late Dwayne. Devoted Grandma of Jessica (Michael Andrews) of Kingston, Valerie Tweedle, and great-grandmother of Zachary Andrews. She will be sadly missed by her brother Henry (Greta Simser), sisters-in-law, Marjorie Simser (the late Gordon), Gert Simser (the late Malcolm), brothers- and sisters-in-law Al Girard and Ann Davidson, Lila and Ivan McCleave, Ruth Harding, Agnes Girard, Jean and Yvon Lapointe, Eleanor Woods, Jim and Karen Girard, and Linda and John Conroy.
