Jolly, Thomas (Tom) James
Peacefully at his home in Manotick, Sunday November 27, 2016, at the age of 67. Predeceased by his parents, Neil and Marjorie Jolly (nee Parker). Beloved husband of Catherine Austin for 36 years. Devoted father of Lauren (Alex) and Britten. Proud Grandpa of James. Loving brother of Ruth-Anne. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Elaine, AnneMarie, Lorrie (Dave), Jane (Tom), the late Audrey (Eddy), brothers-in-law Don (Fernande), the late George (Ellen), Gordon (Lillian), and his many nieces and nephews.
Originally from Windsor, Tom graduated from Carleton University, where he played for the Carleton Ravens while obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Economics. He enjoyed a career of almost 40 years as a professor within the Business Faculty at Algonquin College. Throughout his life, Tom was actively involved in his community through sports and coaching. Tom will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. A private memorial service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation.
