<div itemprop="description">Anderson, William Robb<br />Bill<br /><br />It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Robb Anderson (Bill). Peacefully on Friday February 12th, 2016 at the age of 77 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. <br /><br />Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia (n&eacute;e Daly); married on October 25, 1958. Bill and Pat raised 5 children together. Loving father of Richard, Catherine, Donald (Lorraine), David and the late Bill. Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Scott Lavery), Michael (Natalie Herbst) and Joshua; Stephen (Jessica), Scott (Samantha) and Shawn (Cassandra); Nicole, Jessica, Jeffrey and Jennifer. Devoted great-grandfather of Anderson and Brielle (Melissa and Scott); Mackenzie (Stephen and Jessica); Mordecai, Emerson and Cambria (Scott and Samantha) ; Amelia (Shawn and Cassandra). Dear brother of Elma (late Bob) and predeceased by John (Fern), Richard (Eileen) and Jim. Bill will be fondly remembered by his extended family and dear friends. <br /><br />Bill was born in Bo&rsquo;Ness, Scotland and arrived in Canada in 1953. Bill had a wonderful career as RCMP and pursued a teaching career in Law &amp; Security Administration (Humber College and Durham College) and taught Police Foundations at Algonquin College. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and was especially close with his grandchildren. &ldquo;Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal&rdquo;. Farewell to my sweet Grandpa, may you rest in peace now. We will miss you dearly.<br /><br />A graveside service of Bill will be celebrated in the spring at Notre Dame Cemetery.
