<div itemprop="description">ZANELLI, Enzo <br />1947-2014 <br /> <br />It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enzo after a long and fierce battle with pleural mesothelioma. Enzo passed away peacefully in hospital on July 27, 2014 at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of his family, who battled with him until the end of his journey. <br />Beloved husband of 42 years to Nancy Zanelli. He was adored by his daughters and their husbands Tania and Will O&rsquo;Connor, and Lee-Ann and Rick Shean. Cherished &ldquo;Nonno Enzo&rdquo; to Andrew, Carly, Enzo and Aylin. Enzo was predeceased by his parents Bernardo and Giuseppina Zanelli, and brother Cesare (Susan). He leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters Rita (the late Giovanni), Giovanni (Celestina), Tonino (Bianca), Pino (Pia), and Norina (Edgidio). He will be deeply missed by father-in-law Michele Fatica (late Cristina), sister and brother-in-laws Rita and John Svab, and Giuseppe Tirabasso (late Maria), and many nieces and nephews in Ottawa and Italy. Special thanks to the wonderful health care providers, especially the nurses of 5 east at the Ottawa Hospital for their compassion and care. <br />Friends may pay their respect from 2-5 and 7-9pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at <br />Capital Funeral Home &amp; Cemetery <br />3700 Prince of Wales Dr. <br />613-692-1211 <br />A Mass of Christian Funeral for Enzo will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony&rsquo;s Church (427 Booth St.).
