<div itemprop="description">LOVE, Lorna Mae, (nee: Davis) <br />1923 &ndash; 2015 <br /> <br />Unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the age of 92. <br />Loving wife of the late Leland Love. <br />Daughter of Alfred Davis and Mamie Wood. <br />Devoted mother of Larry (Jo-Anne Carr) and Linda (Dale McCooey). <br />Cherished grandmother of Jody Love and Paula McCooey (Jean Levac), <br />and proud great-grandmother of Gabriella Levac. <br />Beloved sister of Donald Davis, Harwood Davis, and Doreen Davis Moran (Gerald Moran). <br />Lorna will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. <br /> <br />Lorna cherished her travels with Leland and their friends; <br />and she was her happiest when family was together. <br />She was a supporter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation <br />and active with several organizations including the Granite Curling Club <br />and a longtime member of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (IODE). <br /> <br />The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Ottawa Hospital and The Glebe Center for their compassion and care. <br /> <br />A Memorial Graveside Service for Lorna will be celebrated on <br />Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 for 2:00pm at <br />Capital Funeral Home &amp; Cemetery <br />3700 Prince of Wales Dr. <br />613-692-1211 <br />Inurnment in the Garden of Apostles 161 B-1. <br />Memorial donations to the Glebe Centre are appreciated. <br /></div>
