LOVE, Lorna Mae, (nee: Davis)
1923 – 2015
Unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the age of 92.
Loving wife of the late Leland Love.
Daughter of Alfred Davis and Mamie Wood.
Devoted mother of Larry (Jo-Anne Carr) and Linda (Dale McCooey).
Cherished grandmother of Jody Love and Paula McCooey (Jean Levac),
and proud great-grandmother of Gabriella Levac.
Beloved sister of Donald Davis, Harwood Davis, and Doreen Davis Moran (Gerald Moran).
Lorna will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lorna cherished her travels with Leland and their friends;
and she was her happiest when family was together.
She was a supporter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation
and active with several organizations including the Granite Curling Club
and a longtime member of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (IODE).
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Ottawa Hospital and The Glebe Center for their compassion and care.
A Memorial Graveside Service for Lorna will be celebrated on
Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 for 2:00pm at
Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery
