<div itemprop="description">MOON, Jessie Alice (Née Ellacott)<br><br>Jessie passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2016 in her 98th year, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in West Wingham, Alberta, on October 19, 1919, Jessie was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Moon, October 4, 2004. She leaves behind her children Lynda Moon of Toronto; Diane Gorman (Craig Lee) of Manotick; David Moon (Barbara Brookes) of Ottawa. Her love will live on in her granddaughters, Colleen Salinas of Ottawa; Stacey Gorman (Stewart McCann) of Preston, England; Megan Gorman (Anthony Springer) of Ottawa; Caitlin Gorman (Jason Nguyen) of Springfield Virginia; her great-granddaughters Tara Salinas, Eva Salinas and Phoebe Gorman-McCann, and her great-great grandson, Miguel Gorman. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.<br><br>Thank you to the caring staff of the Ravines Retirement Residence, CCAC and Bayshore Home Health. Special thanks to Dr Emilie Daigneault, Connie Delaney, Alba Salinas, Lynn Arthur-Beirness and the many friends and family who loved and supported Jessie to the end. <br><br>Jessie left this life as she lived it, with dignity, kindness and compassion. <br><br>Friends are invited to celebrate Jessie’s life at <br>Capital Memorial Gardens Funeral Home,<br>3700 Prince of Wales Drive<br>613-692-1211<br><br>on Saturday, December 10, from 1pm until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m., followed by a reception.
